Waterfall Hikes Near Baker City, OR
within 50 miles
Baker City's waterfalls are in the Wallowa Mountains to the northeast, and reaching any of them means Forest Service roads and then a walk. Copper Creek Falls, which the Forest Service calls Copper Falls, is about two miles up Main Eagle Creek Trail #1922 from the Main Eagle Trailhead, reached on gravel roads from Medical Springs. Imnaha Falls, on the far side of the range, takes a hike of five to six miles each way, either along the river from Indian Crossing or from the Lick Creek trailhead. Lower Falls on the Little Minam River and Minam Falls are remote falls in the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest with no confirmed trail mileage, so check with the forest before planning on them. The 50-mile circle holds eight falls in all.
