Two falls sit within range of Kingman, up in the Hualapai Mountains south of town, running on snowmelt and storm water. Columbine Falls takes two miles of moderate trail and 500 feet of gain. Red Rock Falls goes longer at three and a half miles, ending at a pool where you can swim. Dogs are welcome on either hike. Spring rewards the drive; by midsummer these creeks often thin to a trickle.
