Apple Orchard Falls is the standout, a 200 foot fall that comes into view about 1.4 miles down the trail from Sunset Field Overlook near Parkway milepost 78, and the walk back up is a steady climb. The Cascades near Pembroke, about 30 miles west, is a 66 foot falls on a 4 mile round trip with a $3 parking fee. Falling Spring Falls pours 80 feet off a limestone ledge beside U.S. 220 five miles north of Covington, viewed from a paved walkway at the overlook, and going past the overlook is prohibited.
